Oil Declines for a Second Day After Iran Nuclear Talks

Bloomberg -- Oil fell a second day after the first international talks with Iran on its nuclear program in 15 months produced an agreement to reconvene in May.

Futures declined as much as 0.7 percent in New York after sliding 0.5 percent last week. United Nations Security Council members the U.S., U.K., China, France, and Russia plus Germany will meet Iranian delegates in Baghdad on May 23 following “constructive” talks in Istanbul on April 14, Catherine Ashton, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, said yesterday. Oil has advanced this year on concern that tension with Iran will disrupt global supplies.

“The flavor of those talks did seem a little more positive than the rhetoric of the past,” said David Lennox, an analyst at Fat Prophets in Sydney. “Between $90 and $100 a barrel would appear...

The irony is, the people of the Nations threatening the sanctions upon Iran are still open-minded, in hopes that the bullsh!t that is going to spew from the Iranian leaders mouths will be forthcoming and promising. The sanctions will probably be delayed because of these so called, "diplomatic negotiations", then as time passes, with the Iranians still exporting their oil to various Countries, the negotiations will break down again, with the same Nations then again threatening to place sanctions yet again. It's just a vicious cycle.
